Concerts
Our true passion is music and live shows, so all artists feel right at home every time they get on stage here. We’ve rocked the house so many times to the tunes of rock bands, drum and bass artists, jazz and blues musicians, electronic, house, minimal and DJ sets with Emil Prize, Dian Solo, Pavel Bochev and many more . Come check out City Stage for your next gig, if you haven’t played here yet. You’ll get time to rehearse, test out the sound system, tune your instruments and rock the crowds in your next concert.
Conferences
Over the years we’ve also become a local favorite for invite-only events, like the Uber Open Source Technology Summit, as well as technology meetups, leadership workshops, conference and festival after parties, like those of Sofia Film Fest, Total Chaos Conference After Party, Entrepreneurs Night Out and JCI Business Network.
Private Events
Christmas and New Year’s Eve holidays traditionally bring familiar corporate names and big brands to host their company parties at City Stage. We’ve hosted large and medium size groups ranging from 300 to 1,400 people for their Christmas parties in December and January. Be sure to contact us in advance to book your spot on the calendar, as this is a busy time of the year and dates tend to get booked early on. In addition to corporate parties, we’ve hosted a variety of private events, like birthday parties and team building occasions.

Dance
Our top quality hardwood floors can be a great match for the wildest dance moves. We’ve been the venue of choice many times for Swing Dance Events, Salsa Competitions, Tango and Kizomba Nights to the hot Latin tunes late into the wee hours of the morning. With generous space, high quality sound system and a main stage for your event announcer, City Stage will be thrilled to host your next dance rehearsal, audition or competition.
Cinema
On a couple of occasions we had the good fortune to become the movie set of a film production company. If your film crew needs a bar scene to tell your next story on camera, come check out our venue and see if you like the local ambiance and decor for your next movie project. We already have some experience catering to a movie crew, so we’ll be happy to team up with you, too. We’ve also hosted a series of science and educational movie nights presented by Ratio. These tend to draw a special crowd, taking a break from partying and clubbing, focusing on topics in medicine, astronomy, healthcare, psychology and the human brain.
Social Events
We’re big football (soccer) fans and we love hosting football game watching nights for fans with a pint of beer among friends and visiting fans from other cities and countries. On occasion we also host tennis tournament watching events, supporting our home grown Grigor Dimitrov and other tennis greats. No matter who you support we create a friendly and safe atmosphere so we can all enjoy the match, catch up with friends and make new ones. We’re also frequently booked for football quizzes, trivia nights, book presentations, community events, improv and theater acts, standup comedy and awards ceremonies like the Marketing Communications Effie Gala Awards.
